Every year there are over 300,000 lane-changing and merging traffic accidents. Over 700 of these accidents result in fatalities. Signal® mirrors are positioned at the eye level of adjacent drivers making them more noticeable than conventional tail lights.
With the increased popularity of taller vehicles, i.e. SUV's, trucks, and mini-vans, a motorcycle has a greater probability of becoming "hidden" by these larger vehicles. The high intensity light from the Signal® mirrors may be the only visible indicator to drivers two or three cars back.

Reaction Time
Signal® mirrors use LED lamps which illuminate 1/5 of a second faster than conventional incandescent tail lights. This provides drivers in the "blind spot" of the Signal® mirror equipped vehicle an additional 19 feet of reaction distance when traveling at 65 m.p.h. Thus, unlike other accessories that soften an accident, Signal® mirrors actually may help prevent one.

Signal® Mirror Upgrade!
In addition to the standard turn signal function, now you can include a braking signal with
Signal® mirrors! The module can be added to an existing
Signal® mirror installation or can be included with a new installation.
Brake Signal
When the brakes are applied this feature provides a "steady on" lighted chevron in both rear view mirrors. If a turn signal is being used at the same time as the brakes, a flashing chevron will appear only in the corresponding side mirror and the brake signal remains "steady on" in the opposite mirror.
NOTE: The Muth brake module is to be used only with Muth
Signal® mirrors. Using the Muth brake module with anything other than Muth
Signal® mirrors may damage the module!

Thread
Adapter for Metric Control
Made from stainless steel. Best looking adapters ever made.
One end is 5/16" fine thread and the other is 10mm. Use on American version of
our mirror arms to adapt to your metric ride. These adapters fit the following
bikes: Buell, Victory, Triumph, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha and Ducati. Some
of our mirror arms are available in metric with a counter bored hole down from
the top allowing a bolt to be utilized instead of this adapter.
NOTE: THE THROTTLE SIDE ON SOME YAMAHA MODELS REQUIRES
AM-5060S BECAUSE IT IS LEFT HAND THREAD. ORDER ONE OF EACH IN THAT CASE.
