CAUTION: PLEASE READ BEFORE REMOVING RED INSERTS!

Removing inserts is intended for OFF-ROAD, COMPETITION, AND SHOW USE ONLY

These tail lights have been designed to comply with all DOT (FMVSS Sec. 108) standards. Removing the inserts will nullify these requirements. Check with your local and state law enforcement for lighting requirements before proceeding. Clear Alternatives & Custom Dynamics® are not responsible for any misuse of our products. Altering these tail lights will also void all warranties.

1. Place complete unit in hot water for approximately 5 minutes. This procedure will help soften the bead of sealant used to adhere the lens to the base.

2. Carefully lift the securing tabs with a flat head screwdriver. Work slowly around the complete lens when prying the lens from the base.

3A. Remove inserts with a phillips head screwdriver.

3B. If Leds are to be installed, place LED on reflector and secure with clear epoxy. Route pigtail through openings.
4. Re-attach lens to the base. Use a silicone base sealant or hot glue gun to help adhere the lens.


*NOTE:* You must use red bulbs, our 1.85" pigtail LED Clusters, when you remove the inserts.
