Direct Magic™ Install Instructions

  • Direct Magic™ tubes are designed to be used with no mounting loom needed! Tubes are self supporting in design! That's the Magic!

     

  • Tubes come with rough cut wire ends in kit. Final length is to be determined based on motor size, coil type and mounting bracket type.

     

  • Wires are slightly longer than needed to allow you to "fit" tubes to your bike.

     

  • It is better to start long with wires and re-cut as needed.--Rather than, make them too short and unusable. Go in small amounts!

     

  • The longer the coil wires the more the tube ends come away from the cylinder at coil socket end, and the further it pushes tube bottom out and up. Away from the shift rod.

     

  • Adjust spark plug wire length keeping one finger width between tube and head. Shortening the plug wire also helps pull tubes up and out. Again, away from the shift rod.

     

  • Important! The whole set up works together. Install the whole set up, before trying to tell if there is a clearance problem. Install all wire ends and (most of all) the clip before trimming any wires. TUBE ENDS MUST NOT TOUCH THE MOTOR ANYWHERE!

     

  • Start bike, recheck clearance. Adjust as needed.
