Our high output fairing speaker upgrades for the 2006-2012 Honda® GL-1800 (Except Euro Model GL-1800), are manufactured a full 10mm’s larger in cone diameter than stock, while still retaining the same exact dimension mounting hole pattern and electrical spade lug size/polarity, to make installation a snap.

Rated at 3.8 ohms impedance and 140 watts max power, they feature a very thin, hard, injection molded polycarbonate cone, titanium colored dust cover, super flexible rolled edge, high sensitivity voice coil and dual-donut design high flux strength Neodymium magnet structure, to provide for maximum air movement, along with superior bass and midrange response.

Installation and Manual

This harness cable assembly is designed to integrate the J&M Blu<>Hub® custom dongle06, (dongle06 not included with this harness kit) to the stock audio system on all years of the Honda GL-1800, including the new 2012 GL-1800.

The J&M Bluetooth headset/dongle06 combination when used in this configuration will provide all of the standard functions of normal corded headsets on the GL-1800 audio system, but without the cord, including stereo music to the headsets, driver/passenger intercom, Honda CB radio (if so equipped) etc.

Features of this dongle06 GL-1800 audio system integration include;

** No in-headset echo or sound delay when using the GL’s driver/passenger intercom system.

** Rider and passenger can each simultaneously link their J&M Bluetooth headset to their own cell phone or Garmin Zumo, for private, in-helmet cell phone communications and/or nav commands.

** Passenger will be able to use their own music volume control that may already be installed ((Honda or J&M)), separate from the driver.

** Dongle06 harness has input plugs included for the 4 various J&M radar detector harnesses (extra cost item), with the radar detector beep/brap heard only in the DRIVER’S Bluetooth headset.

** The stock Honda corded headset connectors can still be used, when the dongle06 is integrated into the GL-1800 audio system.

This cable harness kit includes externally mounted driver/passenger linking/pairing switches, integration component box, all necessary cables, harnesses, & connection spades and complete installation/operation instructions.

The J&M Blu<>Hub® dongle06 component itself is NOT included with this harness connection kit.

Store and play up to 884 MP3 song tracks from your music library on a single SD card, (exact # of song track storage and playback will vary depending on model year of the GL-1800) and toggle thru song after song using your existing handlebar audio system controls.

Plug in your iPod® or iPhone® with your favorite music files stored, and toggle thru song after song, or playlist after playlist, using your existing handlebar audio system controls, without discharging your iPod’s internal battery.

Plug in your remote mounted Satellite radio receiver or MP3 player, using the 3.5mm 3-conductor plug accessory cable and enjoy high-quality stereo music thru the Honda audio system CD selection.

All of these possible music sources can be played, while still maintaining all of the normal integrated functions of the GL-1800 audio system, including driver-passenger intercom and CB radio.

Control head mounts down into the base inside the tail trunk, in place of the CD changer, as a complete plug-n-play installation.

This digital music player kit includes a direct plug-n-play harness for the GL-1800 audio system, SD card reader/adapter, USB cable extension for iPod, 3.5mm aux extension cable for satellite radio or MP3 player, pre-loaded 4Gb test SD card, pre-gummed Velcro mounting strips and complete installation and operation instructions.

Important Note: When installing this unit on 2009-2010 GL-1800s, if you wish to use the XM satellite radio feature of your audio system, with this digital music changer, you will need to purchase at additional cost J&M part# JMDM-ADT-GL18.

This new deluxe passenger controller for the GL-1800 provides an easy to use headset volume control, a large CB radio PTT button for positive activation, along with a passenger microphone on/off switch to help eliminate intercom wind noise from the passenger position. (motorcycle does NOT need to have a CB radio installed to utilize the features of this controller)

Unit mounts to the left or right side seat grab rail for user friendly convenience on the 2001-2012 Honda GL-1800.

Electrical connections plug into the stock wiring harness under the seat for a no-hassle installation.

Kit includes all necessary parts for mounting and connection, along with a complete installation/operation manual.
