The LEDs are quite bright and draw very little power (I measured less than 0.70 amps at 12.2v). The first time I installed it, I managed to over tighten the plate to the frame, and got the wire stuck between the plate and the frame, causing a short circuit, but electrical tape fixed this. Overall, this is a great product, although I think the LEDs should be about another 2mm further toward the outside of the frame. |

It was easy to install and has the option to wire the lights separate. I use the two sides as running lights with all four sides as brake lights. The unit is very bright in daylight and is awesome at night. This frame gives a custom look instead of the "after thought" add-on appearance. Expensive product - but worth the money. |

| The problem I have with the product is that there are too many wires. Depending on what option you use you will have a ton of wires to try to hook up to your wire harness. That many wires makes it hard to give it a professional finished look. The lights are bright and look great. As with anything that is led make sure you seal the wires good where they go into the frame or you will soon see some of your lights start to go out from moisture getting into them. | ||||
| COOL looking! (5/5) | Jun 23, 2010 | Chris Cochran | Puyallup Wa US | |

I set mine up so the amber side columns are turn signals. The thing looks cool and is very visible. I love having the additional running/brake light rows and the additional turn signals. I wish the wires were about a foot longer though. That would have made things a bit easier to handle. Also, as said by another reviewer, I'd also suggest some sealant around where the wires join the unit. Actually I found the most difficult part of installation was notching out the plate for the wires. :) |
