| If you want the most for the least $$$, this frame is it. For the minimal cost, I have improved the plain black dust-fender look to a bright chrome and brilliant LED lit plate holder. The built-in wiring made it simple to install - AFTER - finding the braker circuit on the bike. I use it on a Yamaha FJR1300 Sport-Tourer and it really enhances the visibility of the rear end. I bought one of these shortly after I got my bike, and wired it into the brake and running lights. The frame is well made and the LEDs are clear so you don't even know they are there if looking at the bike in a parking lot. Once the ignition is on, they glow red, and there is a secondary brightness when the brakes are engaged. The install is a snap, and the wires were braided which made it nice and convienent, and they were plenty long enough. Knock on wood but I have not had anyone run up on me at a traffic light or stop sign since I put the frame on. The LEDs are painfully bright at night. |
