OUTSTANDING! (5/5) Jun 24, 2007 Prince Moore Burbank CA US
This is the best gauge I have seen for anywhere near the price. It is ez to wire and mount plus ez to see day or night. It lets you know just how well your charging system is working. Bottom Line is I love it. It gives me peace of mind not having to wonder in my bike is charging. I never have to worry about getting stuck in no mans land, because I will know in advanve is anything is going wrong.

I have owned one of these units since my alternator stopped charging on my bike and left me stranded 4 years ago. I have another digital device that does not work nearly as well as this product. When the alternator was not charging, this unit flashed the amber light which let me know I had a problem. I immediately rode back home, safely. This product works extremely well and is visible in all lighting conditions. Don't leave home without it, I won't.
great product (5/5) May 18, 2011 mike g west valley ut US
I have had one of these since I bought my motorcycle. It works perfectly, and you know what your battery/charging is doing. Have had another digital device that I have had to replace.
Great product for those worried about their charging system (5/5) Nov 28, 2011 Dan Iwaniuk Alexandria VA US
I recently placed this on my 1999 V-Star 1100 Custom and it works beautifully. For anyone out there who had the unfortunate experience of their charging system failing and leaving them stranded, this product brings peace of mind because you always know the battery voltage.
My note on installation: do not simply attach the gauge's hot wire to a headlight hot wire because the headlight's wires do not get above 12V; therefore you will only know if your battery is 12V or less and never if it is charging properly at ~14V. Instead, attach the gauge's hot wire to the key ignition hot wire (the one that is only hot when the key is turned); this wire will give you the true voltage across the battery and the gauge will work as fully designed too.
