• SM-5 unit is designed as a plug-in replacement for BMW "R" Bikes with dual handlebar mounted turn signal switches. Both left and right turn signal switches are Push-On type.
• SM-5 can operate all four turn signal lamps at reduced intensity to enhance your bikes visibility in the traffic. This conversion is all done internally wihout any modifications to the wiring. This optional feature can be enabled or disabled with on the fly.
• SM-5 has soft touch configuration. Soft touch configuration allows the timeouts and running light options to be changed on the fly.
• SM-5 has three selectable timouts, which can be activated through hardware switches or soft touch settings. The three timeout settings are 8 seconds, 30 seconds, and 45 seconds.
• There's also an input pin for brake switch. If you supply 12 volts from the brake switch of the bike, the counter will suspend untill the brakes are released. This feature allows an override for those times when you are waiting at the traffic lights to make a turn and do not want canel your turn signals.
This feature is OPTIONAL.
